Tips & Tricks Thursday

Welcome back everybody!

Today’s another installment in Tips & Tricks Thursday!

I will be talking about my night time skincare routine this week. Last week it was my morning routine, so be sure to check that out if you haven’t already.

So like last week’s routine, my night time routine is just as easy. It’s only 3 simple steps (or two, depending on what you decide) and it’s helped my skin out a lot. Also, if I have any makeup on, I’ll take it off using these products.

All of these products can be bought at your local drug stores or beauty places like Ulta, Sephora, TJ Maxx, etc.

Step One:

Aloe vera toner by Nature Republic. If you couldn’t already tell, I’m a fan of this brand. And this toner in particular is amazing for my skin type. It’s a good toner but it’s not harsh and doesn’t make my skin redden or get irritated in some way which most others tend to do. Like the label says, it’s soothing and moisturizing. You can buy it on Amazon.

Note: I just looked it up to see if I can link it off and it’s sold out right now. Sorry guys.

Step Two:

This is basically my holy grail when it comes to beauty products. I’ve already mentioned it before, but I use it mostly as a moisturizer. Since it’s an aloe vera gel, it has multiple purposes too. Be sure to check this product out here

Step Three:

Now this Tonymoly product is a bit weird and hard to explain. It’s better if you check out the description here on the Amazon page. I think the original purpose was to use as a primer underneath your makeup but because of the consistency, I choose to use it as a night balm. It works a treat though! It does what it claims to do and it doesn’t smell like egg at all. It actually smells kind of citrus-y.

I mentioned before that my night time routine is either 3 steps or less. Here’s why.

Sometimes I’ll forego steps 2 and 3 in my routine and just use the toner. Afterwards, I’ll slap on a sheet mask and call it a night. The sheet mask itself is an all-in-one skincare package. So be sure to check out Imomoko and stock up!

I’ve kept it pretty easy today. Hopefully you all enjoyed! Have any questions or comments? Don’t be shy and leave a reply~

With love,

  1. Awesome post! I will def. try these out! Could you also check out my blog, and follow it if you like it? Thanks, and I love your blog by the way, and will check in to see more new post! 🙂

  2. I just got an aloe vera plant today! I got it to see if I can use it as some type of moisturizer. I’ve heard some people use it as an eyebrow gel so I’m going to test that too. 😀 That golden egg is beautiful *-* haha, I seriously love Tonymoly’s packaging.
