Hello and welcome to this week’s Mask Mondays!
Today, I will be talking about some masks that I heard about through YouTube beauty gurus. Fortunately, the Freeman Masks are sold in individual packets like these so I could try more than one without wasting any product! Stay tuned for more info.
Because it’s never good to overdo it when it comes to your face, I’ve only tried two of the masks so far. So I’ll be splitting up this review into two parts. This week I’ll be going over the green and orange masks first! Make sure to keep an eye out for the second part next week!
First up is the Sparkling Pear Pore Cleansing Mask. I took a pic so you could see the consistency. It’s as the package describes, it’s whipped clay. It feels really light and airy on the face and not too over-drying. This mask is centered around pore care and I believe it does its job. I noticed after use that my pores were visibly tightened and my face felt refreshed. The light scent of that sparkling pear is really nice as well. Do note that the mask is geared towards oily/combo skin and there are full instructions on the back.
Although not my personal favorite clay mask, it does the trick so I can see myself going back to using this once in awhile.
Next up is the Sweet Tea & Lemon Peel-Away Clay Mask. Well try saying that five times fast. Anyway, the consistency of this mask is kind of fun, almost like goop. And it feels like goop going on your face. I do warn you though, if you have sensitive skin you might not want to try this mask. Because it’s a peel off type, I can see it irritating sensitive skin. I almost had this issue when I peeled it off but luckily I didn’t have any breakouts.
If you are interested in this mask still, it does pull off any grime you have on your face. Just be gentle when using it. I don’t think I’ll be repurchasing, but it was nice to at least give it a try.
Remember to keep a lookout for part two next week!
