Hello and happy Friday to you all! I hope this big winter storm isn’t ruining anyone’s day, it’s actually put me in quite a cozy mood.
With that being said, I wanted to share about a day where a friend and I made good hot chocolate together and also tried some Australian ginger beer. Sounds interesting, no? Trust me, you will want to try some after reading today’s post.
We started off the hot chocolate festivities by doing something a little different and adding the marshmallows first. And we also made the hot chocolate in a sauce pan, not the microwave. You get more out of your drink that way.
All of our ingredients! If you have never tried Cadbury’s drinking chocolate, you are totally missing out. Cadbury’s chocolate in general is my absolute favorite, a good reason to visit England in the near future.
We went a little overboard with the whip, but this is a pretty indulgent treat. It’s either go big or go home, you gotta risk it to get the biscuit.
We also played more Star Wars: Battlefront which is always so much more fun with friends, let’s be real here. It always ends in laughter and good vibes.
Now this, this was a new experience for me. At the end of a night filled with lots of food, my friend and I like to sip on some ginger ale. Low and behold though, my friend brings out something new: Bundaberg!
It’s basically a really natural version of ginger ale, it’s labeled as ginger beer. The taste of this guys, oh my goodness. And it has tiny pieces of ginger in it as well! It’s just straight up flavorful and amazing. It’s not too strong either, something I was afraid of at first glance. Definitely something worth trying if you like ginger anything.
A day or so later, I made the hot chocolate again on my own and added some white chocolate chips. Both in the actual drink and as a garnish on the whip. It was freaking amaze balls!
Hope this fun little post makes you guys enjoy this winter a little more, there’s always something to look forward to.
