Ask For Help When You Need It

Hello everyone. This post is a personal one because last week I had a rough couple of days (thankfully Easter itself was a good day) and so I felt like I needed to get some things off my chest.

Ask for help when you need the help. This was a tweet I read from one of my favorite internet personalities and it struck such a cord with me.

First off, apologies for no post on Friday. That was one of the rough days. And there will be a regular post tonight but this one needed to be done first and foremost.

If you follow me on Twitter you will already know that I pretty much decided where I want to move to once I have the means to get out of Texas. But I cannot do this alone. I once again implore anyone that can help to please refer to this post and do what you can. Or just spread word of my blog to friends and family.

Ask for help when you need the help.

I’m asking for help now because I am so much more motivated than ever to jump start my blogging career and get a move on. Because I know this is what I want to do and now I know where I want to be.

For those who are wondering: why California? Well, there are many reasons but I will try to summarize it for you guys.

Where I live currently is actually deteriorating my health. I have allergies ALL YEAR ROUND here and it is actually affecting my daily life. I’ve been to California twice now (spent a week in San Diego and another week in LA) and both times I could actually breathe.

I could smell food and flowers and I didn’t have to blow my nose or clear my throat on the regular.

The food and culture in California is more my speed. Where I live, I have no nearby farmer’s markets or places that sell lots of fresh produce. I can’t have the optimal healthy lifestyle here. In Cali, I have way more options. Options that I know are great from my visits there. I also have the option of more exercises like hiking trails and rock climbing.

As you can tell, I thought this through. So please, if you managed to stay and read all this or have been my follower for awhile now, do what you can. It doesn’t even have to be a donation. Just get my blog out there, share with others what you enjoy reading.

With many thanks and love,
