Cherry Limeade

Hey guys! Hope everyone is having a good Monday. I thought I’d start this week off with something fun and super easy. A drink recipe!

It’s spring, summer is gonna be fast approaching soon, it’s the perfect time to experiment with fun drinks. Especially nice, chilled drinks that you can share with friends in the afternoon. So how about some cherry limeade?

The recipe I am using is super simple, I basically looked up cherry limeades on Pinterest and then narrowed it down to my faves.

I’m using ingredients that I found at my grocery store. My friend and I were just having a really fun hang-out day and we decided to buy a bunch of stuff to make dip and the limeade so we went with what we were feeling.

So you don’t have to use the same kinds I did, use whatever you like! You will need:

  • 1 small jar of maraschino cherries (about 10 oz)
  • 1 can of limeade juice concentrate
  • one 2-liter bottle of Sierra Mist (or your fave lemon-lime soda)
  • (optional) 2 limes / save a couple slices for garnish
  • a large pitcher with ice

First things first, get your large pitcher and fill it with ice. Then start adding the ingredients. I did juice concentrate first, then the cherries (use the ENTIRE jar, along with the syrup), and then I slowly added the soda.

You want to be slow in mixing the drink, otherwise your limeade will go flat. Once you are satisfied with your mixing, slice up the two limes and add it in. Save some wedges for garnish, this part is totally optional but really fun and cute.

TA-DA! The drinks are done and ready to sip. Cherry limeades are SO delicious and really easy to make at home. My friend and I practically downed our drinks, they were that tasty. If you try this recipe out, let me know and tell me your thoughts!
