The Greatest Mystery

Hello everyone! Now I know what you’re thinking, Gone Girl is nothing new. But it is to me. I am so far behind the band wagon, the band wagon is a dot in the distance to me.

After looking up The Girl on the Train to purchase, Gone Girl was listed in my suggestions. I remember the trailer for the movie that came out a couple of years ago and thinking it sounded interesting. So I bought the book and now I’ve finally read it.

Yup, I’m sticking to a theme with my reading lately. I’ve found a new thirst for mystery thrillers. Books that keep the suspense going.

Gone Girl definitely delivers. If you haven’t at least heard of it by now, I suggest looking it up. October is almost here and with the chillier weather, a good page turner can really set the mood.

I’ll be nice enough to give you a small taste: wife disappears on the fifth wedding anniversary. Everyone suspects the husband, but not all is what it seems. This book will keep you guessing and in a good way. That’s what’s great about mysteries, wanting to solve them to answer those really juicy questions. Who did it? How? Why?

If there are any other great novels like these out there that you guys want to suggest to me, let me know in the comments below!

With love,

  1. I always get far too excited when people read books that have already been past the “band wagon” stage. I’m 23 and read Harry Potter for the first time last year!
Any of the author’s other books are amazing and I think you’d really enjoy it!
