Hey guys! I hope you all had an amazing Thanksgiving! I took the long and much needed weekend to relax and get my mind right.
I’m bringing in the new week with a nice post about tea tree oil. Fitting right? It has great uses for aromatherapy and much more. Keep reading for all the details!
Since everyone has different preferences and budgets, I’ll just say that where I bought my tea tree oil was on Amazon. If you already have the oil or buy your essential oils elsewhere, that’s fine too!
So I did my research and found some fantastic uses for tea tree and these are my top favorites that I’ve tried and tested.
Clearing up the sinuses.
This one is so therapeutic and easy to do. Take a bowl of freshly boiled water, add 5-8 drops of the oil, lean over the bowl, and cover your head and the bowl with a towel. Breathe the steam for at least 10 minutes to clear out your nose. Bonus points, it also fights sinus infections!
Get a spray bottle of some sort (depending on the size, the amount of drops will vary) and fill it up with water. Add drops of tea tree oil and spray the mixture around doorways, cracks, and other areas where pests may get in.
Healing foot soak.
Get some epsom salts that you would use for a regular foot soak. Dilute 10 drops of tea tree oil with any neutral oil and mix it with the epsom salt and then pour that mixture into warm water. Let your feet soak for at least 15 minutes and relax! It will cure foot odor, fight fungus, and overall leave your feet feeling clean as a whistle.
Those are my favorites but there are many more uses! So why don’t you lovely readers give tea tree oil a try? I promise you will find good use out of it. Don’t forget you can also use this as aromatherapy!
